Project Description
This project allocates funds towards providing further educational and instructional needs to our students who were hit with the pandemic during their high school years and provides support, scholarships, and more for these students. This goes beyond college to include support for trade schools, vocational, and universities and is intended for those families and students who would find traditional support systems harder to come by.

Application Information

Please Note: All Grants Have Closed. Previously Submitted Applications Are Being Review.

The $10,000 Educational Scholarship is open to qualified residents who need assistance with covering the cost to enroll in higher education or continuing education opportunities. Applicants should be enrolled in or have been accepted into a Maryland college, university, or vocational training program.

Applicants must reside within the City limits, be either a current senior at Roosevelt High School, a private school, a homeschool or have graduated in either 2020, 2021 or 2022 and meet the income requirements.

Applications are due no later than 4 pm, September 15, 2024.
