The Finance Department is responsible for collection of taxes and other City funds, payment of all City obligations, management and investment of City funds, accounting of all financial transactions, preparation of payroll, purchasing of goods and services, recruitment and screening of employment applicants, data processing, and management of City insurance coverage.
